*UPDATE* Released Rook Entertainment Tools Page
I spent a few days rewriting alot of C++ code to make the program C#, and finished all the tool logic, just some tooltips to add as well as set up the TAB steps in a logical manner and It will be complete. I expect to release it this weekend.
Here are some images from the Tool. RELM uses less than 9mb of ram while running, and even while renaming/moving files I’ve never seen it tick over 0.1% cpu usage.
I built a new development machine over the holidays using Intel’s new Rapid Storage Technology.
What a PITA! Two OS reloads to get the system to acknowledge it’s using RST, then the intel driver crashes and the system crashes on OS install. Well that’s enough RST for me! I reconfigured the SSD as a standard drive and all seems to be working.
I configured Windows to put the User directory and Program Files/Program Files(x86) onto the 2TB D: drive.

I took down the Rook Entertainment Forums today, they where not being used, and where accumulating loads of spam. When I release a product I’ll set up another forum, until then it is just too much to manage.

Taking a break from coding/school — finished C&C3, started C&C4… This is where the suck begins.
Must register with EA… Thanks for all the SPAM EA. Yeah, I selected I didn’t want any of their or their partners’ offers…
Must be Online and logged in to EA online disservice. Guess what happens if you lose your connection while playing? It doesn’t record a winning level and you must replay it, even if it reconnects during the level. Must I crack a game I PAID for in order to make it playable EA?
My God, can’t companies treat their paying customers with at least as much respect as Bernie Madoff gave to his clients? No they don’t seem to be able to.
Well more DRM news, It appears EA/Bioware are keeping players out of Dragon Age if they bought any DLC ( inc Dragon Age Ultimate ). I bet their paying customers are SO happy they didn’t torrent the game.
This includes SINGLE player saves if the character has picked up any DLC items. When will companies quit treating their LOYAL and PAYING customers like thieves?
